Allegations against the Director of Operations at the Presidency, Lord Commey that he is taking advantage of his position to engage in various forms of corrupt practices has been retracted in its entirety by the website that published it.
[contextly_sidebar id=”AS3G8ljYZXlTimbX9H7rvZyJTIRRgOfX”]This comes after an apology and retraction from GhanaWeb after a publication that suggested Mr. Commey was taking monies from some supposed National Democratic Congress (NDC) loyalists under the pretext of helping them maintain their jobs at state institutions under the new government.
Mr Commey in a reaction to the claims described it as false and called for an apology and retraction.
According to him, the publication was a deliberate attempt to smear his him.
However, the retraction by the media company said it did not intend to deliberately denigrate him by publishing the article which was written by one Mawuko Quashigah and published earlier this week.
