The UGCC were willing to compromise Ghana for themselves to suit the British. It was Nkrumah who facilitated the defining moments of where and what the Ghanaian MUST fight for and that was for its independence to the chagrin of JB Danquah et al, hence their connivance in later years with the British and CIA to have Nkrumah overthrown, not forgetting the many attempts on his life by JB Danquah and co. The chicken came home to roost so now, Nana Addo, give credit where it is due.
