The Vetting Committee has given the nod, and approved Lady Otiko Afisa Djaba for the ministerial assignment the Nana Akufo-Addo NPP administration assigned her. Lady Otiko Afisa Djaba has officially and formally been sworn in the Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister by the President of the Republic of Ghana 08/02/2017. She is no longer designate; she is the approved, sworn in minister for the ministerial post deemed fit for Lady Otiko Afisa Djaba. Minister Lady Otiko Afisa Djaba is now the substantive Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister. PERIOD!
Any ensuing opposition NDC objection is just simply hollow after the Vetting Committee approval that sailed through, and the ruling Chief Executive of the State of the Republic of Ghana has given his presidential blessings.
Given the filthy, denigrating mess and the evil criminal and corruption offenses that enmesh the immediate past, evicted NDC John Dramani Mahama administration even now, which the NDC parliamentarians endorsed by their mute consent, would the Ghanaian populace endorse and approve the NDC team on the vetting committee? A potent objection of theirs to getting Lady Otiko Afisa Djaba approved for her ministerial post was her outright and forthright condemnation of what she saw bad about John Dramani Mahama’s obnoxious untoward administration.
Do the minority team on the Vetting Committee ever feel qualified to be vetting appointed candidates for ministerial assignments? Let any of them show and prove by what we have already seen pan out these few weeks they qualify to ever be in parliament. What qualities, moral/ethical, and what qualifications should a parliamentarian earn to be able perform creditably in the Ghanaian parliament. Are any of them, per chance, in possession of any of the missing 200 or so Ghana Nation cars the running NPP administration is looking for? .
