Nana Akufo-Addo was denied the opportunity in 2008. He has had the chance in 2017 December. Today, February 10, 2017, at Okuapeman Senior High School, the Head of State formally launches the Free Senior High School programme before the whole world.
John Dramani Mahama doubted the feasibility of such a venture, which he viciously criticized in the Brong Ahafo Region in 2008. Yet the unimaginative NDC director turned round and stole the projected. With little qualm, Mahama tried launching the Free SHS programme which he tried modifying, but botched it.
