Does this journalist imply His Excellency, the President, was absolutely happy about the mode of presentation? This happens to be the implication by Marian Ansah’s application of the Litotes. The litotes is the employment of double negatives to signal a strong positive affirmation. And where was Marian Ansah ever taught in the classroom during any of the English grammar lessons that a comma, pure and simple, is admissible after the finite verb?
The President is surely not happy, and he signals this eloquently enough, that only his NPP part of the transition team did the interim presentation this time.
