Let me state emphatically that the Kwame Nkrumah administration that was entrusted with the running of a national economy, the coffers at that time not adequately honestly well packed with the deserved earnings from our work efforts, though, never learnt sensibly how a nation state economy’s builds. You never ever, if you are sensible, introduce wrong nation building policies to build an economy for a nation state. Nkrumah never ever was blessed with the requisite human resources to building the economy the way our predicament called for at that time. This accounts, to a degree, for the huge deficit the CPP administration created, which was pathetic. It never should have happened that way had Dr. Kwame Nkrumah himself been adequately well resourced, intellectually, to run and supervise the nation state’s economy.
Since Kwame Nkrumah the malaise, if you will, has not attempted going away. It has pointedly worsened. And it is at its worst state with the immediate past John Dramani Mahama’s NDC administration. Pointed corruption! You do not ever fight for a public national assignment with the sole hidden purpose of looting the coffers! This is uncalled for! This is sickening corruption that wrecks the nation’s economy ever building any healthily. This corrupt corrupting syndrome is what we are stopping. Anyone that ever pilfered a pesewa that honestly never belonged to his/her thieving pocket should be made to return the nation state’s money to the nation state coffers where it honestly and duly belongs; the stolen ‘looted’ Nation State moneys do not belong to the homes where they find themselves now. Ghana needs the looted moneys to build a healthy, robust economy for coming generations…for our children and their coming children. We need to clean and cleanse this nation of filth that does not belong here!
