Yes, the north is home of arts and crafts coming from individuals and cottage industries. We have the pottery, materials for ceramics, Bolga crafts, sandals, hats, bungles and so on. The local clothes weaving industries and so on are examples.
The costumes for the cultural dances are artistic.
I have no knowledge in arts and crafts to describe adequately what we have in the north. Much exploration and development of the arts and crafts industry in the north is desirable.

This is what we need at this time of our existence. The Northern regions in particular is a virgin sector for growth. As a lecturer in Art and (crafts) I have had the chance to tour almost every corner to see how creative our people are . Unfortunately, our over reliance on foreign good is gradually killing the creativity and local craft industries.
