Residents have been compelled to rely on sachet water, dugout wells, streams and boreholes for water for domestic activities.

Mr Martin K Ansah, the Eastern Regional production manager of Ghana Water Company Limited told Citi News the problem was as a result of power outage which has affected the starting method of the pumps which picks water from the Volta Lake to the intake station.
