The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Bawku Central constituency Mahama Ayariga has pledged more development projects for his constituents in his next term of office.
According to him, although the constituency has received massive infrastructure development under his term, he will lobby for more developmental projects for Bawku when re-elected as MP.
He disclosed this at his campaign launch in Bawku which was attended by Hanah Tetteh, Haruna Iddrisu and thousands of NDC supporters and sympathizers clad in party paraphernalia amidst singing and drumming.
Mr. Ayariga listed the extension of electricity to various communities, construction of boreholes, CHPS compounds and schools among others as some of the projects he has undertaken.
He added that, the NDC government under President Mahama will fix the Bolga-Bawku.
“When I am re-elected as MP for Bawku Central come December 7, I will facilitate the construction of new university for the people of the Bawku traditional area and a municipal hospital for the people of the Bawku municipality,” Ayariga stated.
He reiterated his commitment to also attract investors to expand and boost businesses in the Bawku central constituency.
“More schools, CHPS Compounds, boreholes and other initiatives will be initiated to bring relief to my constituents.”
Mr. Haruna Iddrisu and Hanah Tetteh impressed on constituents to vote massively for president John Mahama and Mahama Ayariga as their MP for the needed developments and jobs for the constituency.
