[contextly_sidebar id=”3BXogfyybmu1BstllHGPCko2IE9TZpiC”]The ‘Ekki Me’ hit maker appeared in court on Wednesday after more than two months of absence. His lawyer, Jerry Avebogbor, pleaded with the court to rescind the bench warrant placed on his head.
The prosecutor, Judith Asante, however, urged the court to remand him in custody for failing to show up and disrespecting the authority of the court.
The case was adjourned until August 12 2016.
Wisa was charged with indecent exposure after allegedly stripping during a live performance at Citi FM’s 2015 edition of ‘Decemba to Rememba’ and rubbing his manhood behind a female dancer on stage.
He had not reported to court for 2 months and was previously reported by his lawyer as ‘missing’ after failing to appear in court for the second consecutive appearance.
He has since pleaded not guilty and is on a GHc 8000 bail with one surety.
