But in reality we Ghanaian are often victims of such. It is our vote that determines who rules us. Hence, who ever rules us is by the constitution mandated to serve and be accountable to the people of this country, right? So, as people, we must know that there are certain things we are entitled to as citizens with in fact, are mandatory and basic for every government to provide. It is not a privilege but a must. Such as good motor able roads, good educational policies and schools, uninterrupted supply electricity and portable drinking water, security, jobs, just to mention a few. You asked what my efforts towards the above is? I say, judge the book by what is in it? If a leader by his own voluntary accord without any pressure whatsoever from the populace, willing promises to do ‘A, B, and C’ when voted into power, then it is left to we the same populace to judge that leader by his/her own words or promises. If he achieves nothing less that a 100%, I say WE VOTE THE FELLOW OUT! Politician must never take us for granted! Until we ensure they promise us realistically and deliver realistically, we and our development would remain stagnated. Excuses by any sitting government no matter which party is in power is an insult to us! Worst is when they try to justify their failure by comparing it to past governments who were voted out to make way for them to come. We need result and there is no excuse for not delivering. After all it is our money that is paying for their expenses and waste. Do you continue paying someone who do not deliver as promise? Your guess is as good as mine. Lets eschew all tribal, political, etc. lines when it has to do with matters of national concern. Ghana comes first. So I say, for starters, lets hold the politicians accountable for what they said they would do and what they did when they had the opportunity. Results is all that matters. Government isn’t a charitable organisation where you beg to be there. Your track record must stand out and speak for you, period. When politicians are voted out for not delivering as promised, we the populace with time would start having realistic and workable promises from the politicians. No excuses! #Ghanafirst
