The 1991 Old Boys of St Paul’s Senior High School (SPOSA), Denu has presented set of computers and books to their Alma mater to mark the 25th anniversary of the year group.
The move according to the group President Selasi Dzormeku forms part of measures to give the students practical education in Information Technology (IT) and improve academic excellence in the school.
He said the gesture through support from Kasapreko Company Limited was a demonstration of their appreciation for the good training they had from the school as students.
“We decided as a year group to come together and come back to our almamater. Looking at the support that the school gave us to become who we are today, we decided to give back to our almamater after 25 years of leaving the school.”
The Old Boys who refurbished the defunct computer laboratory in the school, equipped it with 25 desktop computers and its accessories.
About 1000 exercise books were also donated to the school.
Some of the old students including the National President of the Old Boys’ Association Seshie Dzakpasu, the Board Chairman of the school David Nutakor, the Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Fifi Kwetey and the Municipal Chief Executive, Pascal Lamptey advised the student to live beyond reproach.
Mr Francis Hlorgbe applauded the 1991 batch for the gesture and called on other year groups to come on-board to support the school.
