All is set for the The Joyful Way Inc. and Legon Interdenominational Church (LIC) 2016 National Singles’ Summit which will come off at LIC this Saturday, July 23 at 9 am.
The fifth edition of the Summit is themed, “Relationship & Faith Today: the Norm, the Struggle, the Way!” will continue the tradition of promoting chastity in the youth.
“The 2016 edition of the National Singles’ Summit seeks to expose Ghanaian youth and young adults to this ‘Way’ so that we get rid of the status quo (the norm) and allow the Lord to help us face our struggles and come out victorious,” organisers have said.
This edition of the summit is set up to service patrons with a programme tailored to maximise the engagement of the youth who will throng to the summit.
It will feature a break-away session for stimulating discussion among the like-minded patrons followed by period that will allow the youth present to lay down as many questions for the resource panel as possible.
The resource persons for the summit are Elder Amos Kevin-Annan, Dr. Agatha Aboe and Rev Agnes Philips.
The summit will be crowned off with a talk on the theme from Elder Annan which is anchored on scripture from Titus 2 verses 11 and 12.
Aside the enriching relationship-themed discussions, the summit will also feature enriching music and dance ministrations from Joyful Way and the LIC Youth Fellowship.
