President John Dramani Mahama will be in Côte d’Ivoire today for an official visit.
President Mahama, who was invited by President Alasanne Ouattara to the country will be accompanied by his wife, Lordina and a high powered government delegation.
He is also expected to hold talks with his Ivorian counterpart, and will also be decorated with Côte d’Ivoire’s highest national award.
The President will also receive the key to Abidjan and an honorary citizenship of Côte d’Ivoire.
He will return to Accra on Thursday.
Relations between Ghana and its Western neighbour has seen tremendous improvement under the leadership of Presidents Mahama and Ouattara.
