Ashanti Gold veteran shot stopper Fatau Dauda believes a massive improvement in their performances at home is needed if they are to turn their faltering season around.
The current reigning champions of the Ghana Premier League have struggled to replicate their form from last season and find themselves occupying 12 position on the league log with 14 points after match day 13.
The Obuasi based team have struggled to find goals this season and rank bottom 5 in the league with regards to goals scored. Dauda believes the team have not met expectations especially when they have played in front of their fans at home.
“This season has been a very difficult one for us. “When we go away from home we manage to get positive results but when we come back home we cant seem to get the desired result.
“Its one of those things that happen in football but we need to push ourselves to do better in our subsequent matches. “We play really well but cant find the back of the net,”he told Citisports.
