The annual Citi FM Family Day Out comes off this Wednesday, 25th May of 2016, at the Burna Camp Leisure Center.
The event, which climaxes the Citi FM Family Month, will be an open-air funfair at the one of Accra’s most unique entertainment centers, the Burma Camp Leisure Center.
The event would provide an opportunity for families to bond, have fun and spend precious time together. It also wraps up the month of May and the various family related activities organized by Citi FM to consolidate the fortunes of families, including the Family Consecration Service and the Family Finance Series.
Activities lined up for the day include karaoke, poetry, charades, swimming, soccer, chess, ludo, musical chairs, treasure hunt and more. There will be bouncy castles, face painting and other exciting games to entertain children while parents enjoy the other activities. There will be storytelling and a special reading session with Apiorkor Seyram Ashong for interested kids.
This year’s Family Day Out shall also have a food fair and a special cooking competition which will see the men on the Citi Breakfast Show fight for bragging rights.
The event starts at 10am and closes at 4pm. Tickets are selling at GHS20 for adult and GHS5 for kids (under 12 years of age).
