As for Mr. Anis Haffer, I won’t even response to him because according to his books, a black man cannot make it in a white man’s world. I gave his excepts on amazon to a friend in the United States and he just laughed. His books which sell for $4.98 have 0 ratings on Amazon which means even at that cheap prize, no one buys them. His thinking is not consistent with the 21st century. He thinks that if you carry loads on your head, your spine will crumble and you will not have the ability to succeed in life. News Flash for Mr. Haffer: I carried loads on my head(Still do time to time) and I think I am doing fine in the academic and professional world. I have consulted for several United States organizations as a consulting software engineer and my carrying load on my head has had no effect on me. I am even a Microsoft Certified Trainer who has trained many people of all races Meaning I am one of the best engineers on Microsoft Technology in the world.

The ones that surprise me the most are the younger so called intellectuals in Ghana who just are not so deep thinkers. Let’s talk critical thinking, Shall we?

@Kofi Bentsil and Franklin @Franklin Cudjoe creates a company and start calling themselves a think tank of Ghana or Africa and for that I say God help us.

As an Engineer I build things so I cannot cut corners and for that I need to call things as I see them. According to Mr. Cudjoe, Poor people are the ones who carry loads on their heads and to that I say, has this guy ever stayed in Ghana? If you call yourself a policy think tank, I will expect that you do a little scientific observation in your environment before jumping to the conclusions. In our culture we carry loads with our heads. The fact that you get a little education does not mean that you get to change an age old culture and start calling it a poor people thing or a bad thing.

There is a reason why we don’t teach first graders calculus. Ways to teach kids is absolutely different from adults and I will expect that people who work in an organization that calls itself “Think Tank” of Ghana or Africa will know this.

These two educated illiterates, Mr. Cudjoe and Bentsil, probably expected Prof Quarm write: The head is used for thinking, Reasoning etc. Well, let me give you my Engineering perspective.

The head which is mainly the skull houses organ systems and the head(skull) is part of the skeletal organ system. The brain is not part of the skeletal system but rather part of the nervous system. The fact that the brain is housed in the brain does not make it part of the skeletal system.

Example: I have a TV in my house. Do I live in my TV? The fact that something is housed in something does not mean it does its function.

I am only a Software Engineer but I know this why? I took my natural science classes seriously.

Can you find a way to explain this to a first grader during an activity session? You are the think tank.

I am surprised that people call Imani Africa a policy think tank but I think they call themselves that. You are so out of touch with Ghana or Africa to call yourselves policy think tank. It seems to me that this company just want to siphon funding from donors calling themselves what they are not.

If this is what the 2nd best think tank of Africa thinks, we have a serious problem but then the title was granted to themselves and there are many important think tanks in Africa than Imani Africa so it makes me feel better.

Please Imani and it’s leadership do some deep thinking before you come out blasting when you have no clue what you are preaching.
