A former Deputy controller and Accountant General, Seidu Kotomah has been appointed as the new Controller and Accountant General.
Prior to his appointment he was the Deputy Controller and Accountant General in charge of Financial Management Service.
His appointment follows the exit of the former controller, Grace Francisca Adzrone, whose is due for retirement.
Seidu Kotomah a chartered accountant, was employed by the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) in September 1989.
He has over 21 years experience in public sector accounting.
Prior to his appointment to the current position, he held a number of significant positions including the Director of the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS), Head of Payroll, Director of Internal Audit and Investigation and Head of Main Accounts.
He has also served as Treasury Officer in Washington DC and Assistant Treasury Officer in London.
Seidu Kotomah holds an MBA from Middlesex University, London and BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ghana.
He also undertook an ACCA course at Financial Training Company in London, United Kingdom.
