Citi Sports sources can confirm that the board of Asante Kotoko is set to convene an emergency meeting to sort out the current impasse between David Duncan and the management of the club.
Duncan has defied orders from the clubs management to step aside following a string of poor results which has seen the club take over the bottom spot of the league.
Kotoko enjoyed a successful pre season but it has not translated to the actual league campaign where the club has recorded 3 defeats 2 draws and a win.
According to our sources David Duncan, through his lawyers, has responded to the press release sent out by the club citing certain clauses in his contract which make it illegal for the club to proceed along the current tangent.
The situation provoked a visit to the afternoon training session of the team yesterday by Life Patron and owner of the club Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.
