The Ministry of Interior has on the advice of the Ashanti Regional Security Council, reviewed the curfew hours imposed on the Tafo Township in the Ashanti Region.
A statement from the Interior Ministry indicated that the curfew starts from 11 pm to 4 am effective April 1.

The incident led to the death of one person.
The Ministry in a statement also reviewed curfew hours in the Alavanyo/Nkonya townships in the Volta Region and renewed that of Bunkprugu, Bimbilla and Kpatinga in the Northern region.
In the Alavanyo/Nkonya area, the curfew now begins from 11:00pm and ends at 5:00am, while that of Bunkprugu is from 8:00pm to 6:00am all effective April 5.
The curfew hours of Bimbilla is between 6:00pm to 6:00am, while Kpatinga and its environs starts from 12 midnight to 4am.
The ministry also cautioned all persons in these towns against carrying arms and ammunition.
