Worship leader Eugene Zuta will be in Kumasi this weekend for what is expected to be an intense worship experience at the garden city.
Together with Uncle Ato and a number of notable ministers in the Ashanti region, the Wo So (Yesu ee) composer will hold the 2016 edition of his annual gospel concert Adoration at the Oasis of Love Church in Ahodwo.
“It’s such a blessing to lead Oseikrom in worship this year. We had a wonderful time at Adoration 2015 in Accra but our leading this year is to move the worship train to the blessed city of Kumasi. Our call is to create the Adoration platform for families, workers, friends, churches, students and all other individuals, wherever they are, to come together and worship God and extol His majesty. I’m glad so far Kumasi has responded very well and we’re set for a divine experience on Sunday,” said Eugene Zuta, the lead minister and convener of the programme.
For His Glory
Adoration 2016 is on the theme: “For His Glory” and it begins with a music minister’s retreat and workshop on Saturday April, 16th ahead of the main event on Sunday, April 17th at the Oasis of Love Church, Ahodwo.
Building up to the main event, the team is currently running a series of worship sessions at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and at the premises of some radio stations in Kumasi.
Uncle Ato, others to rep
Guest minister, Pastor Ato Ghartey, popularly known as Uncle Ato says this year’s Adoration experience will be a build on last years’ and is expectant of a life transforming encounter with the Holy Spirit.
“I am thrilled by the upcoming experience with the people of Kumasi and I encourage everybody who can to be a part of this celebration of God’s glory. We are taking the worship a notch higher and I am excited to be a part of it.”
He said. Other ministers on the night include Rev Danny Danso, Kwame Amihere, Bibi Adu Opoku, Quame Poku, Kojo Adjei and Sandra Afreh.
Starts at 4pm
The event begins at 4pm exactly on the day. It is an after church experience which is meant to ignite in all Christians a perpetual life of worship and to exhibit a sense of gratitude to their maker.
Eugene Zuta has over the last ten or so years led several choirs and churches across the country in various worship encounters. He has two albums to his credit and a live audio and DVD recording from Adoration 2015 currently on the market.
Noted for his humble and calm disposition, Zuta sees worship, not only as a way of life but also as a transformative tool for our individual lives and that of the entire country.
“Sometimes we focus so much on the hardships of this world that we fail to give our maker His due. But personally, I believe that if our nation can make worship a part of our lives, put all behind us and lift up the name of our Lord, even in the most difficult of times, Ghana will see a transformation.” He said.
