The Executive Director of Danquah Institute, Nana Atobrah Quaicoe, is expected to appear before the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) today [ Tuesday], to answer questions relating to the three repatriated ex-South African Police Officers.
[contextly_sidebar id=”jntd5CSnvV4vDkniqR7jMygb7xI3gkpg”]A source close to the Institute told Citi News the Director was at the BNI on Monday for the first round of questions relating to the matter.
A statement from the Ministry of Interior last week, implicated Nana Atobrah Quaicoe and the CEO of Mc Dan Shipping in the issue.
They were accused of facilitating the entry of the three into the country.
Although the three South Africans have been repatriated after they were arrested, detained and charged, the BNI is questioning Nana Atubrah Quaicoe over the institute’s involvement.
Danquah Institute’s office ransacked
Last two weeks, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) alleged that personnel believed to be from the Ghana Police Service and the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) had raided the offices of the institute.
A Deputy Director of Communications for the NPP, Perry Okudzeto, told Citi News that the men included a Police officer in uniform and six others in mufti.
