Ghana’s Black Stars have moved up three places and are now ranked 38th on the latest rankings released by FIFA today.
The Black Stars played two competitive matches against Mozambique in the past month and recorded a win and a draw.
Ghana has 693 points and is 3rd on the African rankings behind Algeria and Cote d’Ivoire who are 1st and 2nd respectively.
Senegal and Egypt close out the top 5.
In terms of the global rankings, Argentina is the new number one team in the world with Belgium, Chile, Colombia and Germany rounding up the top 5.
Spain, Brazil, Portugal, Uruguay and England close out the top 10.
