The Citi FM Heritage Caravan was in the Volta Region on the first day [Monday], with the adventurous participants beginning their experience of viewing Ghana through a brand new multi-cultural lens.
The Heritage Caravan, the first of its kind, is part of the station’s Heritage Month initiative held annually in March, Ghana’s birth month.
The caravan, which set off on Monday, will move through eight of out of Ghana’s ten regions within a week from March 7 to 13. The caravan has already been through the Volta Region, Eastern and is now in the Ashanti Region.
The participants were treated to a stunning view of the Adaklu mountain in the Volta Region.
They were however unable to attempt the 2-hour trek to the mountain’s peak because of the humid conditions.
The Caravan left the Eastern Region on Tuesday, after visiting the monkey sanctuary at Buaben Fieman.
The Heritage Caravan is powered by Sasso, Top Oil, Jovargo and Colgate.
