Mamadou is a Cameroonian Pan-Africanist who is working diligently to address inequality of chances mainly for young Africans. Because of his unwavering and undying passion for transformative change on the continent, he founded Africa 2.0 Foundation, a ‘D-Ink Tank’ which is a think tank that does things.
Mamadou strongly believes that there is need to leapfrog the growth of the continent by leveraging a new generation of leaders from the private sector, civil society and the government. Due to his outstanding work across the continent, he was selected as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2015. Mamadou is also the Founder and Partner at Ubuntu Capital which is an investment advisory firm.
Why you should listen
I am a very passionate African and believe that my talk will bring a new perspective and arouse a conversation that needs to be heard across the continent.
Having created a platform and community of thought leaders from across the continent, my talk will highlight some of the incredible work that is being done by young people and inspire others to take charge. In addition, I will highlight some of the many obstacles that hinders the sustainable development and prosperity on the continent.
