Security personnel and school kids had their final preparation on Friday for the commemoration of Ghana’s 59th Independence day parade.
The exercise took place at the venue for the ceremony, the Black Star Square in Accra.
They are expected to hold a last rehearsal session on Saturday ahead of the parade on Sunday March 6, 2016.
The 59th Independence Day celebration is on the theme “Investing in the Youth for Ghana’s Transformation.”
6th March is a vital day on Ghana’s Calendar, as the nation remembers the day Ghana gained independence from its colonial masters. The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, is the guest of honour for this year’s event.
