Dantex West Africa Foundation, a non-governmental organization that operates in the health sector has presented medical supplies worth GH¢ 45,000 to the Tanyigbe Health Post in the Volta Region.
The presentation which included blood collection tubes, injection needles, urine cup kit, and disinfecting wipes was done through the initiative of Mr Koku Anyidoho, a Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and a son of the town.
Mr Francis Venunye Dzani, the Director of the Foundation, said the foundation has over the years been committed to supporting healthcare in under served communities in West Africa.
Ms Enyonam Aborbor, the Health Officer in-charge of the post, said the items would improve health service for the about 5,020 people from Tanyigbe, Tokokoe and Akoefe area.

Mr. Koku Anyidoho said the move was also to give back to society as part of the Easter celebrations.
Mr Benjamin Kpodo, the Member of Parliament for the area, said the presentation was timely and called it a perfect Easter gift.
