President John Dramani Mahama has decided to reward the taxi driver who foiled the armed robbery attack on a Koala employee at Cantonments with a house.
Vice President K. B. Amissah-Arthur made the announcement when he hosted the taxi driver, Nana Yaw, at the Flagstaff House this afternoon.
Mr Amissah-Arthur commended the driver for his patriotism and heroic act.
[contextly_sidebar id=”JQ6lAa0QHZuXpr2eCrRBMFThaZ9RtbZk”]The two robbers, Obaleko Stanley, 35 and Oko Quarcoo, 30, attacked and shot a lady in her leg near the American Embassy at East Cantonments and tried to escape with her belongings.
The taxi driver, who was a witness to the robbery incident, pursued the two robbers, who were escaping on a motor bike and crashed into their motor bike with his car, injuring the robbers and leading to their arrest.
