The year 2015 was a difficult year for most business operating in Ghana due to the numerous economic challenges that have engulfed the country.
With rising inflation and interest rates as well as an unstable currency coupled with a power crisis that saw the cost of operations of many businesses running significantly high as compared to other years it was a tough year indeed for many companies.
Though stories around the power crisis, the cedi, the IMF and the country’s economic challenges made business news almost every day a number of other key business stories also caught our attention this year.
