Vivo Energy Ghana has held what it calls ‘Customer Contact Day’, an initiative that allows the company’s management and staff to offer services to users of shell products at the various retail stations and pumps across the country.
Every year, Vivo Energy staff spend a day outside the office to interact with customers to thank them for their loyalty and to seek for feedback on their products.
Customers were given souvenirs such as dusters, pens, air fresheners and free screen wipes.
Aside this, Shell is running a taxi promotion which also seeks to reward loyal customers.
The prizes at stake are four taxis, which are the ultimate prizes. There are also mobile phones and flat screen television sets for lucky winners.
Retail Manager, Kwame Ackah, said the ‘customer contact day’ is held to find out if the needs of customers are being met.
Asked whether fuel prices will go up with the Christmas season approaching, Kwame Ackah said since pricing is mainly determined by the forces of demand and supply among other factors, he cannot be certain about it.
“It is a function of demand and supply so I cannot predict what happens now. When we get there, we will cross the bridge”.
He said however that the feedback from customers with regards to their services was remarkable and overwhelming.
“It’s been amazing and humbling for me to hear customers praising Shell services and products. This goes to buttress the fact that indeed Shell since 1928, has been the leaders in the industry”.
In an interview with Citi News, a customer was full of praise for the services and products that Shell offers.
“I have used Shell diesel for fifteen years and I can boldly say that their services surpasses all. Their customer service is great and I will continue to use shell products especially their workshop services”.
Vivo Energy Ghana is a company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants. The Shell brand has been in Ghana for 85 years.
