A meeting called at the instance of pressure group Occupy Ghana degenerated into a war of words when power minister Dr. Kwabena Donkor insisted the current power situation cannot be referred to as “Dumsor.”
The minister then threatened to end the meeting if the pressure group continued to refer to the power crisis as dumsor and not load shedding.
This did not go down well with leading members of Occupy Ghana, Sydney Casely-Hayford and lawyer Egbert Faibille Jnr.
Dr. Donkor has always insisted he promised to end load shedding and not Dumsor since according to him, the word Dumsor refers to unplanned outages.
