The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa, KT Hammond is wishing former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Cooperation (GNPC) Tsatsu Tsikata the best of luck in his legal suit against him.
[contextly_sidebar id=”UvE5GQx4srHLDuSq1Y5mg3Z5xP1qUyvK”]Tsatsu Tsikata announced over the weekend that he has filed a defamation suit at the High Court against KT Hammond over accusations that he has been paid a million cedis by GNPC as ex-gratia.
Mr. Tsikata is praying the court to restrain the Adansi Asoka MP from making public statements on the matter.
Though he denies being paid the said amount Tsatsu Tsikata said he still deserves it.
However speaking to Citi News a defiant KT Hammond said he has made no defamatory statements in which he had to retract but said he will meet Mr. Tsikata in court if he is served the writ.
“I haven’t received any writ. I’ve heard that I’ve been sued and I’m asked to retract. What I’m I supposed to retract? There is nothing I have said which is defamatory that I’m supposed to retract, so I won’t retract anything. I will meet him in court, I wish him good luck, and I wish myself good luck too,” he added.
