The barge which was built by Turkish company, Karpowership, was expected to dock at Tema on Friday afternoon but was pushed back due to some delays in documentation and routine formalities at the Abidjan Port, where the barge was offloaded by the Black Marlin, a speed deck cargo ship.

The Eastern Naval Command escorted the barge to Tema and provided security after it took over from the Western Naval Command.
