The Black Princesses booked their place in the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Papua New Guinea with a 4-0 win over Ethiopia at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday to complete a 6-2 aggregate score.
The Black Queens needed to avoid defeat in Ghana after drawing the first leg and they responded to the task by scoring in the 33rd minute through Priscilla Adubea.
The team doubled the lead when Sandra Owusu Ansah scored in the 48th minute. It got worse for the Ethiopians when Adubea scored again in the 50th minute and Owusu Ansah struck once more to complete the scoreline.
Ghana and Nigeria will represent Africa in the U-20 Women’s World Cup next year.
