Manet builds police station at Batsona

The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Ahmed Alhassan has reiterated his outfits commitment to bringing policing to the doorsteps of citizens.

This he says will make Police presence available to everybody and also reduce crime.

Speaking at the Commissioning of Batsona Police Divisional and Okpoi Gonno District Headquarters donated by Manet Properties, he stressed that any act of negligence on the part of the Police service will not be tolerated and will be acted upon with immediacy.

Manet Properties as part of its social responsibility donated the facility to the Ghana Police service to augment their effort to fighting crime and making the community a safer place to live.

The facility will serve the over one million population of Batsona, Okpoi Gonno, Spintex and its environs.

Commending Manet Properties for their gesture, the IGP stated, “with such commitment from    good members of the public, the Police will continue to strive for professionalism, effectiveness and efficiency in our duties. Above all, we will continue to show empathy, humility and honesty in our dealings with the public.”

He said the Police administration is strategically creating new divisions, districts, stations and posts to make Police presence much felt and easily accessible to everybody in the country.

The DSP urged all Police persons to work diligently and live up to their social responsibilities.
