The Electricity Company of Ghana is shedding 430 megawatts of power today [Tuesday].
It will span from 6am to 6pm which has been categorized as off-peak period.
A statement from the ECG stated that: “Gridco has requested for 390MW load relief from ECG between 06:00hrs and 18:00hrs due to insufficient power generation.”

Gridco has requested for 430MW load relief from ECG between 06:00hrs and 18:00hrs due to insufficient power generation,the regions should therefore shed load as follows:
Accra… 150MW
Ashanti…. 90MW
Tema…….. 70MW
Western…. 40MW
Central….. 30MW
Eastern…. 30MW
Volta…… 20MW
Total….. 430MW
