“Yesterday around 5:30 am I had a distress call from one Mr. Bawa telling me that one Chief Butcher has been shot dead by armed robbers around Kasampore so I quickly organised some police officers and then we arrived at the scene. It was around Kasampore that they shot the chief butcher.”
He reveled that the Police has intensified security in the area since the incident occurred.
“Everyday we go there about three times a day and then in the night we go there once.”

King was reported to have met his untimely death when he was attacked on the Mamfe- Sankore road in the region.
