Dr. Mary Chinery-Hesse in her speech challenged the staff of the company to remain committed and win more laurels for the bank.

“While appreciating what has been achieved in the past, it is equally important for the Bank to look forward to what it can do in the future. It is a hard fact of life that no matter how much contribution one has made, good work can never be exhausted. As we move on, it is appropriate to remind ourselves that we must not rest on our laurels, which is quite easy to do; but rather to press ahead to see what else we can do to enhance the Bank’s performance,” she stated.
