But according to the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party, Ade Coker, the excercise was reschedule because the date “coincided with that of the Northern Region.”
The nationwide vetting ahead of the party’s primaries on November 7 began on Tuesday, September 22.
So far aspirants in Eastern, Central, Upper East and Upper West regions have vetted.
Speaking to Citi News on the latest development, Ade Coker said the party’s national executives communicated that the Northern Region and Ashanti regions “should be dealt with before coming down south.”
“…So when the team is ready they will proceed with Accra,” he added.
