President John Dramani Mahama would today [Friday] break grounds for the commencement of works on the construction of an airdrome in Ho.
[contextly_sidebar id=”P85JRjxKol29IKTaltdlf32ltVV6JIbY”]The mini-airport which is part of a promise made by the president to construct airports in some regional capitals in the country is to be completed by end of 2016.
The project when completed would boost transportation in the region and provide jobs for residents.
The 1,500 acres land located at Ho- Tritrinu has been awarded to Falcom Crest Investment for development.
President Mahama has over the weeks cut sod for a number of project and inaugurated those that have been completed.
Some of the projects include the inauguration of the Atta Mills Senior High school in Otuam, Atuabo gas processing plant in the Ellembelle district in the Western Region, commissioning of the “onuadͻ” medicare programme and sod cut for the construction of an 8 kilometer road network at Sefwi Asawinso.
