Accra Great Olympics were relegated once again from the First Capital Plus Premier League despite beating AshantiGold 2-1 on the final day of the league season.
The “Dade Boys” looked for the breakthrough as did AshGold but the first half ended goalless.
The goals came in the second half and it was the defending champions who scored through Emmanuel Osei.
Olympics found inspiration and scored twice through Agbeshi Dortsi in the last 5 minutes of the match to win the match but it did not save them from relegation.
They ended the season with 40 points as did Heart of Lions who were beaten 4-2 by New Edubiase United.
The two teams were relegated to Division One together with B.A. United.
