Over 40 companies are sweating it out at this year’s Citi Businesss Olympics currently underway at the Burma Camp Leisure Centre in Accra.
Various companies will compete for trophies and a year’s worth of bragging rights.
The event is arguably the largest sports gathering that offers corporate institutions the opportunity to compete, network and have fun at the same time.
It will also offer business professionals who have been working tirelessly, an opportunity to burn some calories in a fun environment and still remain productive.
Games on the bill include, 50 metre dash, table tennis, lime and spoon race, swimming, tug-of-war, basketball, badminton, lime and spoon etc.
Ambassadors
Some of Citi FM’s personalities have been made ambassadors for the various competitive and noncompetitive games.
Vivian Kai Mensah, Head of Business News Desk is the ambassador for volley ball.
Bernard Avle, host of the Citi Breakfast Show and Director of News Programming is the ambassador for table Tennis.
The rest are Jessica Opare Saforo-Host of Traffic Avenue, Pearl Akanya Ofori-News anchor, Richard Dela Sky-Host of Eyewitness News, Eugenia Tekorang-News anchor, Nana Boakye-Yiadom among others.
Staff of Citi FM have also confirmed their preparedness to host the games and displayed their jama skills in their own #CBOChallenge.
The various game ambassadors are prepared to give participating companies a time to remember.
