Angry supporters of premier league club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, in Nima, Accra, say they are contemplating a massive demonstration against the Ghana Football Association, GFA, over the deduction of points from the team.
The supporters say the football governing body’s Disciplinary Committee has not treated the team fairly.
The Disciplinary Committee of the FA on Tuesday deducted six points from Kotoko for fielding an unqualified player in its league match against Accra Hearts of Oak.

In an interview with Citi News, the Chairman of the Circle 55 Supporters’ Union at Nima, Abdul Razak Mumuni, said they have also asked the management of the team to boycott the remaining two games of the premier league until the outcome of the appeal is determined.
“We have advised them not to play until the appeal committee decides on the matter.”
