The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, GIMPA, has donated a cheque of GH10,000 to Eric Ohemeng, a student of the school who recently suffered an acid attack.

[contextly_sidebar id=”1zjy1bokmiyDnqFmHsVyfQ0f55GUwqFb”]Eric is still in a critical condition months after the incident which was caused  by his ex girlfriend Esther Enyonam Pekyi.

The Police are on the hunt for Esther Enyonam Pekyi for the act.

Speaking to Citi News after the donation, the Dean of the Business School of GIMPA, Professor Samuel K. Bonsu says the money is intended to facilitate the recovery of Eric.

“This is a situation where GIMPA feels it must its student. If he had the GH10,000 we probably wouldn’t have been invited to make this contribution. We care about all the members of the GIMPA community. So that’s that’s why we are doing this to support Eric to make sure that he fully recovers and can join us in the shortest possible time,” he said.

Meanwhile the course mates of the victim are calling on the Police to intensify their search for the suspect.
