Reports say nine other people including three Policemen have been injured from the gunshots fired during the clash.
The clash started when some members of the Akyem-Akooko community protested for the fetish priest, Nana Saka to be banished over claims that he had been murdering people in the area for rituals.
The demonstrators also burnt some houses and vehicles to express their displeasure.
