Skipper of league leaders Ashanti Gold football club Lawrence Lartey says they cannot afford to drop points against visiting Liberty Professionals this weekend.
The Miners are without a win in their last three games and cannot afford to drop points at home.
Last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko meant they have only managed to pick up a point from a possible nine.
With Berekum Chelsea on their heels skipper Lawrence Lartey says they cannot afford a slip against the scientific soccer lads.
“At this point of the season our home games are a must win for us given the way we have performed in our last three games,” he said
“We know that Liberty Professionals are a very strong side but I believe that when we play to our full potential we can beat anyone.”
