Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat rivals Accra Hearts of Oak 2-1 in Accra to deepen the Accra- based club’s relegation worries.
Inusah Musah’s equaliser after Amos Frimpong’s opener for Kotoko was not enough for the Phobians as Dauda Mohammed poked in a late winner for the Porcupine Warriors.
The win takes Kotoko up to 8th in the Premier League while Hearts drop down to 15th, only ahead of BA United.
Hearts blew a great chance to take the lead when Robin Gnagne’s first half penalty was palmed away superbly by the goalkeeper.

Kotoko capitalised when Amos Frimpong headed home from a corner to give them a first half lead.
Despite being dominated early on in the second half, Hearts struck back with Inusah Musah heading home from another corner.
Hearts took control of the game and Antwi had to be strong to keep out a well struck free-kick.
But Kotoko would not be denied as Dauda Mohammed showed great tenacity in the box to keep the ball from the defenders and poke home past the goalkeeper.
