The paper in its July 21st edition accused the NPP National Organizer of using party funds to buy a new vehicle and pocketing GH¢650,000 meant for the party’s campaign in the Talensi bye-election.
John Boadu in the suit which Citi News has intercepted is seeking a perpetual injunction restraining the paper, its publishers and Editors from further publishing “defamation stories” about him.
He is also demanding an apology and retraction from the paper for four weeks and another apology which should be carried out in the Daily Graphic Newspaper.
