Huawei Technologies Ghana has unveiled its latest product; the Huawei P8 smartphone.
The device is the latest generation of the Huawei P-Series.
The phone is powered by a 2680mAh battery and Kirin 930 64-bit Octoa-Core chipset with a 13 megapixel camera.
The phone is expected to retail from a price of GH 1,950.
Speaking at the launch of the phone, the Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Ghana, Russel Xuhu said the P8 has been designed to the most user friendly smartphone for consumers globally.
“We designed it using our indepth understanding of the more pressing pain points for premium smartphone users today to deliver a revolutionary user experience especially in terms of camera capabilities and network connectivity,” he said.
He stated that the Huawei-P8 had a camera that meets the challenges of both low light and high contrast situations “making it more than just a smartphone with a camera.”
“Judging from the success and the outstanding global performance of the Huawei P series, we are confident the Huawei P8 will be one of the most popular smartphones of 2015,” he stated.
