Ghana defender Baba Rahman’s dream move to English premiership side Chelsea is almost complete after the London side agreed on a €25 million fee.
Rahman who has 11 cups for Ghana will become Chelsea’s most expensive acquisition this summer following the arrival of Radamal Falcao on loan from Monaco and Asmir Begovic from Stoke City.
Chelsea will reportedly pay €20m upfront and the remaining €5m later, depending on appearances and bonuses.
Augsburg signed the former Asante Kotoko man from Greuther furth for €2.5 m a year ago and are now selling him for €25m.
The Ghana international finally seals the move after months of negotiations between Chelsea and Augsburg.

Baba is expected to come in as a replacement for departed Felipe Luis who was resoled back to Spanish club Athletico Madrid.
Having emerged as the highest ball winning defender in the Bundesliga, the Ghanaian will definitely have his own ideas of playing more games for the English Champions.
